A collection of my thoughts, daily anecdotes, ideas, and musings.
Have you tried Hill training? or fartlek?I used to find 5k's hard to improve on until I started running 10ks. Maybe you could take it up a gear?
No, I haven't really done much beyond "let's run this distance".I should do more advanced training, though, because I just signed up for the Long Beach Half Marathon (in October).I woke up this morning wondering what I must have been thinking.
:) I signed up for a half which I completed in march I think. It was HARD work motivating myself for evening running in the cold dark, but really really worth it when I crossed the finish line.http://twentysomethingnowwhat.blogspot.com/2008/03/some-good-news-and-some-bad-news.htmlMy perfect run ....http://twentysomethingnowwhat.blogspot.com/2008/02/better-than-sex.htmlGodo luck you can do it! :)remember the more training you put in the better you'll feel on the day.http://www.ironbridgerunner.co.uk/pdfs/13k.pdf
Thanks so much for your encouragement and stories!
