JFK Plot Suspects Turned To Carribbean Extremists
Terror is an idea. That's why you can find it everywhere. Once you decide you can't live in fear, the terrorists lose a lot of their power.
It's easy to demonize a group of people (read my post on PFC Anzack). It's not easy to "man up" and fight an idea.

"man up"? I guess that makes more sense than "woman up" in a war context, but I'm kind of thinking about throwing out the sexist card now.
Just kidding, I'm sure you're not sexist. :) There are plenty of women fighting the war on terror.
